John Durrant

With over 32 years experience in the profession, JD is a senior estate agent and a past chairman of the powerful West Surrey Association of Estate Agents, a current member of the Internet Committee for the National Association of Estate Agents and a Branch Officer for the National Association of Estate Agents. In his "spare" time he is also a Local Education Authority appointed Governor of the Winston Churchill School in Woking.

John is a Partner in the Woking firm of Waterfall, Durrant & Barclay http://www.waterfalls.co.uk with offices in West Byfleet as well as in Woking’s centre. His estate agency experience encompasses property ranging from £2,500 (when he first started in the business in 1966, to well over £1,000,000. He is a genuine all-rounder. In fact, he says, he measures 6’5 in every direction, which also makes him "Woking’s biggest estate agent"!

He is a campaigner for those people whose homes front onto common land who, because of a recent reinterpretation of the law, now find themselves having to pay large sums to their common land Freeholder (see the article below).
