Providers) into your online e-tail store. We have various secure options
available for processing orders, catering for companies that already have
internet merchant accounts and those who don't. Even if you have a merchant
account for conventional trading (i.e. customer present, or customer not
present), we advise you discuss with your bank if your account includes
processing transactions via the internet.

Once we have built your virtual store and a customer places an order through
your secure form, a live request is made to the issuing bank (the cardholder's
bank) to authorise the payment. If the credit card account is valid and
is not at its maximum limit, the bank will issue an authorisation for
the transaction instantaneously. The customer's account will then be debited
and the merchant's account credited automatically.
There will be no
need for the merchant to process the transaction through a PDQ card terminal
as this is all handled online. The merchant simply receives notification
of the order by email and fulfills the order accordingly, safe in the
knowledge that the payment has been made.

Our second option is aimed at companies that would rather process online
orders manually. The customer's order is submitted and stored onto a secure
server, an email is sent notifying you that an order has been received.
NO CARD DETAILS are displayed at this stage. The only way to retrieve
your customer's card details is by connecting to your secure server and
entering your own unique ID and password when prompted. This method is
NOT supported by all banks, please contact us for more information.

We can still build you a virtual store as above, but a bureau must process
orders on your behalf. As these companies are taking the financial risk,
they demand a higher percentage per transaction on top of their initial
set-up fee. Alternatively, we can offer integration with PayPal. This method offers a cheap alternative for the smaller company who do not have or do not wish to have a merchant account, please contact us for more information.
