Music

Adding sound can further enhance your client's enjoyment whilst visiting your site.

Broadband technology has become an affordable option, allowing ADSL and Cable modems to download music at a much faster rate than that of a conventional 56k. The following is a brief explanation describing the various music options we have available.

STREAMING AUDIO

We can encode and then stream (plays as it downloads) Real, Windows, QuickTime and MP3 files. Streaming is by far the most popular way to listen to pre-recorded/live audio, mainly due to the fact that playback commences nigh instantaneously.

MIDI FILES

Midi files are used for background music, they normally start playing as soon as you arrive at a site. The major downfall of Midi is the sound produced is reliant on soundcard quality, which means the best music can sound weak in comparison to other formats.

MP3 FILES

MP3 technology allows users to encode CD quality WAV (pc) or AIFF (mac) soundfiles using high compression ratios, whilst still maintaining near perfect CD quality.
