Adding sound can further
enhance your client's enjoyment whilst visiting your site.
Broadband technology has become an affordable option, allowing
ADSL and Cable modems to download music at a much faster rate than that of
a conventional 56k. The following is a brief explanation describing the
various music options we have available.
We can encode and then stream (plays as it downloads) Real, Windows, QuickTime
and MP3 files. Streaming is by far the most popular way to listen to pre-recorded/live
audio, mainly due to the fact that playback commences nigh instantaneously.

Midi files are used for background music, they normally start playing
as soon as you arrive at a site. The major downfall of Midi is the sound
produced is reliant on soundcard quality, which means the best music can
sound weak in comparison to other formats.

MP3 technology allows users to encode
CD quality WAV (pc) or AIFF (mac) soundfiles using high compression ratios, whilst still maintaining near perfect CD quality.
